What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a medical methodology which originated in ancient China. Acupuncture treats patients by manipulating thin, solid needles that have been inserted into specific acupuncture points in the skin. According to Traditional Chinese medicine, stimulating these points can correct imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians. In recent Western Medical studies, Acupuncture has proven to be highly effective for many types of musculoskeletal pain syndromes. Further research is being conducted on the benefits that Acupuncture has in treating internal organ disorders, neurological disorders and autoimmune disorders.
Electro-Acupuncture
Electro-Acupuncture: Enhanced Healing Through Gentle Stimulation
At Aura Acupuncture, we elevate traditional acupuncture with electro-acupuncture, an advanced technique that combines ancient Eastern wisdom with modern technology for superior results. Small, gentle electrodes are attached to the acupuncture needles, delivering a variable low-level electric current to stimulate key points along your body’s meridians. This enhances the flow of Qi, amplifying the body’s natural healing processes.
Under Dr. Khabra’s exceptional expertise, electro-acupuncture integrates seamlessly with Western medical insights to provide targeted relief.
